Atalanta (; Greek: Atalant) is a character in Greek mythology, a virgin huntress, unwilling to marry, and loved by the hero Meleager. * According to the Bibliotheca of pseudo-Apollodorus, Atalanta was the daughter of Iasus, son of Lycurgus, and Clymene, daughter of Minyas.
